Wilmar R. Suan is the owner of Suan and Company a CPA firm, HR Alliance a Human Resource consulting and outsource company and TRAC Therapy Research Autism Center an Applied Behavior Analyst company helping children with autism and brain trauma rehabilitation.
Wilmar is very active in various civic and community activities. He is an active member of Saint Anne Parish Usher Club, School Men’s Club and served as Webelo Scout Dean Leader, Board member and President of Filamcco an umbrella organization of Filipino community in Michigan, Board of Trustee of Philippine Nurses Association of America Foundation, Former Board of Director of Asian Pacific and Islander Vote- Michigan, Past President for two terms of the Waray Waray International Organization and as advisory board member of Philippine American Medical Mission Foundation of Michigan.
Wilmar is a Certified Public Accountant with active license in Michigan and Illinois and earned a designation as Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) through American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA). He also obtained a graduate degree in Master of Taxation at Walsh College. He is also a license agent for Michigan Health and Life insurance and had a license in financial securities series 6 and 63 which he surrendered to focus on tax and accounting practice. Wilmar is very active in Accounting Practice and currently member of the Small Practitioner Group, of the Michigan Association of CPA and Private Company Practice Section of the AICPA.
Lastly, Wilmar is happily married to Flormina a registered nurse working in neonatal ICU at Beaumont Hospital. They have three children – Jonathan. Jessica and Jennifer.
